1SGT Walk is a retired U.S. Army Veteran who suffers with PTSD. She contacted C4H for help and within weeks, C4H answered her call with a wonderful companion animal who she calls, Q.
Q, a 4 year old Yorkie, came to the Washington Animal Rescue League from a Missouri Puppy Mill and is recovering from his years in a puppy mill. He and 1SGT Walk will help each other heal.

My dog brings me joy each day I walk him- everyone in the neighborhood knows Q. It is nice to know there are so many friendly people who care about animals. They always say "here comes Q"....he brings me comfort. I am now working at the Washington VA as a social worker. Q also brings comfort and joy to my mother when I am at work. He is her buddy. What a joy to come home and hear what Q and my mother have accomplished. By the way my mom is in her 90's.
